Mardovar has
been selectively breeding golden retrievers since 1975. We strive to maintain the
retrieving abilities in our dogs. As loving family companions, temperament is essential to our breeding program. Intelligent minds, coupled with
sound healthy bodies makes the golden retriever a willing worker, fun to train,
and a joy to own. Our goldens are members of our family as well as bred
for their conformation and working abilities. In a limited breeding
program, we have produced all round competitors including many champions in
several countries, National Specialty
& Best in Show winners, High in Trial obedience winners (OTCH, UDX,
CDX, & CD's), agility dogs (MACH, MXJ, MX, AXJ, AX, OAJ, OA, NAJ, & NA's), working hunt test dogs (SR, JH, WCX, & WC's), tracking dogs,
Guide Dogs, and Search and Rescue dogs. We are proud of the
contributions of our dogs incorporated into the breeding programs of numerous service dog organizations
which have produced working guide
dogs, handicapped assistance dogs, & therapy dogs to enable mobility with
dignity.
